My baby is 11 years old today!
I love her so much. I cannot believe there was a time when I actually thought about giving her away.
I have been calling her Lumpy because of all her little lumps. I hope she stays here for a long time.

Tonight I was thinking, as I am known to do.
This whole thing about the millenium has me baffled.
I see shoes, rings, champagne, sheets, etc. etc. ad nauseum, that has 2000 on it. So, I figured since I am such a cynic anyway, I should probably talk to someone else.
As luck would have it, I just happened to talk to my sister Cynthia today. She was explaining to me how someone at her work thought the millenium happened every 100 years. (poor dear)
So, Cynthia explained to me how she had painstakingly explained to this other person that it happens once every 1000 years. THAT was my answer. ONCE every thousand years.
But, it begs that question, wasn’t it 1000 years since 999 last New Year’s eve? And wasn’t it 1000 years since 1000 years ago today this morning?
And not to be difficult, but what if I celebrate the Chinese New Year or the Jewish New Year? Get my point?
